20th Anniversary -

On March 17th EOP will celebrate its 20th business anniversary. This is a tribute to our Clients and our Staff. Together they made this marvelous milestone attainable. Twenty years is even more astounding when you realize 50% of new business fail in the 1st year and 80% don’t make it to the 5th anniversary! As Family Owners, we remain committed to providing affordable, high profile, professional and secure office space and business services. So on our 20th Birthday let’s take a trip down memory lane. EOP 1989 – 2 business centers with 18 offices at 700 Ackerman Road just off Rt. 315 and 16 offices at 1654 E. Broad Street just across the street from Franklin Park Conservatory. Later that year we added 42 offices at 438 E. Wilson Bridge Road. What about the rest of the USA and the World? Gas at $1.00 a gallon, stamps at $.25, unemployment at 5.3% and household median income at $28,906. U.S. news – George Herbert Walker Bush 41st President, Lucille Ball died at 87, jury convicts Oliver North, Exxon Valdez spills 11 million gallons of oil into Prince William Sound Alaska, San Francisco Forty Niners are Super Bowl Champs, Best Picture is Rain Man with Dustin Hoffman and Tom Cruise and Record of the Year is Don’t Worry Be Happy. World News- Gorbachev becomes Soviet Union President, thousands killed at demonstration for democracy at China’s Tiananmen Square, U.S Troops invade Panama and arrest Manuel Noriega and last but not least the Berlin Wall is torn down signaling the end of the Cold War and the break-up of the Soviet Union.
